Steve hails from East Lansing, MI, where received his Bachelors in Music Performance from Michigan State University. While at MSU, he played snare in the Spartan Marching Band from 2003-05, and was in the MSU Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra. He was also part of the MSU Percussion Ensemble, where he has been a featured marimba and multi-percussion soloist. Steve also marched snare in Northcoast Academy (2005) and was a founding member of the Detroit Pistons Drumline. He has worked with many groups in the mid-Michigan area and was a snare tech with Legends Drum and Bugle Corps. Currently Steve is pursuing his Master’s in Music Performance at the University of South Carolina, where he is the Percussion Instructor/Arranger for the USC Drumline.
