Mike Leitzke Mike Leitzke, a Chicago, IL native, began his marching percussion career in The Knightline marching percussion section at Prospect HS in Mt. Prospect, IL. Mike then joined the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2006 season where he remained a member of the front ensemble until aging out with the corps in 2008. Mike was also a member of the front ensemble at Rhythm X (PIW) in the 2008 season and helped capture the group’s first ever world championship with their groundbreaking program “Gone”. Mike currently resides in Columbia, SC where he is finishing up a degree in Instrumental Music Education at the University of South Carolina.
