Joel Gardner Joel Gardner is currently finishing his double major in Global Supply Chain & Operations Management and Finance from the University of South Carolina. He has been a member of the Drum Corps International nine time world champions Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, marching 2nd bass in 2007 and top bass in 2008. He has also performed with the University of South Carolina drumline and marched snare with Epiphany PIO 2005-2006. Joel has taught and consulted with several notable percussive groups throughout the state of South Carolina and has been a battery tech with Palmetto Percussion since its inaugural year in 2007. He is a Vic Firth Educational Artist and has been instructed by Tom Aungst, Colin Mcnutt, Steve Kieffer, Chris Butler, Bobby Marino, Sean McElroy, Andy Warntz and all other members of the “Holy Bass Nation.”
